Baby Shower in Auburn

 My amazing friends threw me a baby shower at Ariccia in Auburn. Everything was just beautiful and the company was even better! Thank you all so much for everything you did!

I had my first baby shower last weekend that Paige, Erica and Bo hosted at mom's! Everything looked beautiful and the food and company were even better! I know that Dick and I will enjoy using each and every gift once "Miss" Addison arrives in....6 more weeks!!!

I did not realize that I should have had the 4-D pictures done earlier than now, otherwise they would have been more clear! Dick could not come, so my mom came to see. :-)  Addison has positioned herself head down, so we had a hard time getting her to cooperate since her hands were up by her face. As you can tell she has adorable chubby cheeks, but we can't tell who she is going to look like! We will just have to wait until she arrives!

29 WEEKS

Christmas in Jacksonville

    As you can see, the belly has grown over the Christmas break and Addison is becoming much more active! I go back to the doctor in two weeks for a checkup, but sadly no ultrasound :-(  

   It has been a great break so far with Dick not having to work, so we have been doing a lot of cleaning and organizing around the house since we got back. In the next few weeks we will start putting away the furniture in what will be Addison's room for a while (at least until we move). Her bedding and furniture should be in around the same time, so we have a lot to do!

25 Weeks 3 Days

       The belly sure did grow during the Thanksgiving break, which means that Addison is growing as well! She continues to move around and kick a lot, and you can now see the kicks through my clothes now....it is very strange but very neat! I go back to the doctor this week to have a glucose test done....let's hope everything comes out ok....I would have a hard time staying away from sweets :-)

        We all enjoyed being in Camilla this year for Thanksgiving, where we were able to see all the cousins and how much everyone has grown!! Next year, Addison will be here!

I went for an anatomy check at 21 weeks, and everything looked great! She weighed 14 oz....almost a pound!

Mama and I went back to the the baby store to look at furniture and bedding to make final decisions, but of course I already showed Dick our options and he said he was fine with anything :-) All of the furniture and bedding has been ordered! It should be here by January, so hopefully we will know where we will be living by then so we can start setting up the nursery!

As you might have noticed, I added all of our names to the title of our blog along with baby Cassidy's name....Addison!  Her full name will be Addison Powell Cassidy. The name Addison had been one of our top picks and Powell is my grandmother's (Ethelyn) maiden name and Dick's great grandmother's(Carol's mother) maiden name.
